Branch Manager

Our client, consumer finance provider, with a focus on financial solutions & systems, is need of branch managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations within the branch. This includes ensuring that the team meets customer service standards, complies with regulatory requirements, and achieves performance targets. The role requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication skills.

Attributes: Experienced, energetic, goal-oriented and passionate about sales and marketing.

Remuneration: Negotiable, based on experience and value proposition.

Other benefits: Telephone and Transport allowance payable monthly.

Commission: 2.5% bonus on every 1m achieved above the target given.

Locations: Ijebu and Ilorin

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the loan department.
  • Manage and train loan officers and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with lending regulations.
  • Develop and implement branch loan strategies to meet goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive business.
  • Analyze loan applications and make approval decisions.
  • Monitor loan portfolio to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present reports on branch performance.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve branch operations.

Qualifications

  • HND bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, management or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound financial decisions.
  • Proficiency in banking software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
