SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


LOCATION: SOUTHERN REGION, NIGERIA.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 8-12 YEARS


ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Senior Business Development Manager supports the company’s growth by identifying project opportunities, nurturing client relationships, supporting bid processes, and driving new business acquisition for a new and fast-growing construction company with presence in Ibadan, Akure, Uyo, Abuja, Lagos.

The role focuses on operational execution of business development strategies, market penetration, and pipeline development to ensure consistent project flow and revenue growth.

This position acts as a bridge between market opportunities and project execution teams.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Source new construction project opportunities from public and private sectors.

* Track upcoming tenders for development and infrastructure projects.

* Maintain a strong pipeline of potential business.

* Develop relationship with contractors, consultants, developers and government stakeholders.

* Support client presentation and negotiations.

* Coordinate preparation of proposals, RFQs, and tenders.

* Work with technical and commercial teams for competitive submissions.

* Monitor industry developments, competitor activity, and pricing trends.

* Maintain updated records and business reports.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* B.SC in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or Related Field.

* Proven experience in client acquisition, proposal development, or project sourcing.

* Good understanding of construction project lifecycle.
