Kimberly’s Electric is not your regular lighting store we are Nigeria’s destination for curated, luxury,
and rare lighting solutions sourced globally. From breathtaking chandeliers to smart electrical
fittings, we light up spaces with elegance and innovation. With branches in Lekki and Asaba, we
offer turnkey electrical services, bespoke lighting procurement, and interior collaborations.
We are now seeking a strategic and passionate Business Developer who will not only grow the
numbers but build a sustainable, scalable business structure out of Kimberly’s Electric one that can
stand tall in Nigeria and shine across Africa.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Developer will lead the growth strategy of Kimberly’s Electric by driving sales,
developing new business pipelines (residential, commercial, hospitality), structuring client
acquisition systems, and expanding our retail and project footprint. You must be entrepreneurial,
highly driven, with a proven background in sales and B2B business development preferably in
lighting, real estate, interiors, or electrical engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth strategy for Kimberly’s Electric
• Identify and pursue new B2B and B2C opportunities in real estate, construction,
hospitality, and commercial fit-outs
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with developers, architects, interior designers,
and procurement firms
• Work closely with our Lekki and Asaba branches to increase foot traffic and direct sales
• Introduce lead pipelines, CRM tools, and reporting systems to track and convert
prospects
• Propose new revenue streams including lighting subscriptions, project-based
procurement, and after-sales services
• Represent Kimberly’s Electric at trade shows, exhibitions, and partnership forums
• Provide monthly growth reports directly to the MD of Kimberly’s Group
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotions, and lead generation
materials
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or B2B client
management
• Strong knowledge or demonstrable passion for lighting, electricals, or interiors
• Proven ability to build sales pipelines and close high-ticket deals
• Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and result-oriented
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience working with CRM tools or business growth platforms is an advantage
• Comfortable leading a team and reporting to executive management
